Rick Janson, Realtor with and owner of Denver Lifestyle Real Estate, donates 4,000 LED flicker candles to create 2,000 paper bag luminarias which are distributed to the 200 homes lining Washington Park. Rick relies on the graciousness of our 200 neighbors to light and set out the candles on the shortest Sunday of the year in a ring of light that is over 2 miles long. People from all over the neighborhood and the city are welcome to come walk the park and enjoy this ring of light that is a wondeful testimony to community spirit. The candles, bags and organization are Rick’s gift to the neighborhood for supporting his real estate business at www.DenverLifestyle.com and for being such wonderful neighbors. The 2011 event is scheduled for Dec 18 from 5:00 – 9:00. Bags will be distributed in the week leading up to the event.
